FREEZE TRAINING ACADEMY The freeze training academy is based on technique and skills building sessions. The purpose of the Academy is based solely on improving each individual's technical ability. The training academy is set up in a way that all age groups can be trained in the same session. Players are divided in groups by age, ability, or both. Three or Four different skill stations are presented in a 2 hour session. Each group will be in a station for 20-25 minutes, depending on what was taught during the warm up segment. Skill Stations included in a typical session are: shooting technique and finishing drills, ball control, and learning moves to beat opponents 1v1 or creating time and space for yourself. Other skills stations consist of passing techniques and combination play, speed work, agility, and balance training, Technical training for Goal keepers by goal keeping coaches, and more. WHEN: The training academic typically starts the last week in January, which corresponds with the beginning of the University's second semester. There are usually 6 sessions before the University's spring break begins, and 2 sessions after spring break. The FEE for The training academy is $150.00. (You may subtract $10.00 if you already have a Freeze training shirt, training kit must be worn for all sessions) Checks should be made out to Bob Durocher
